Barton under Needwood Gardens Festival
Friday 19th, Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st June 2020
and teddy rides open from 1pm till 6pm
(Last entries to Teddy Rides 5.30pm)
Following last year's hugely successful event planning is underway for the 2020 Festival and we look forward to welcoming visitors old and new to our unique fun event. The weekend offers something for children, parents, grandparents and everyone else to enjoy - not forgetting the teddies of course! As well as putting smiles on faces the weekend will also help swell the coffers of our chosen charities. We thank everyone for their support for the 2019 event which was a tremendous success - we sold a record number of teddy passports, welcomed hundreds of visitors to our open gardens and raised £8,000 to share between our good causes.
The Friday evening concert made a rousing return and will be back again this year.
We aim to make this year extra special as we will be celebrating 20 years of the teddy rides and scarecrows. The Festival is now a major community event on the village calendar and local groups and organisations who would like to take part will be most welcome. We would like to hear your ideas for this year and looking ahead to the future.
There will be an Open Meeting on Tuesday, January 21st at Holland Sports Club at 7.30pm. If you can't attend you can email the chairman, Charles Theaker with ideas or offers of help on firstname.lastname@example.org
